Broadcasting & Cable reports on Sen. Klobuchar’s efforts to bring broadband to “underserved” areas
The Minnesota Senator, who sits on the Senate Commerce Committee, believes that the broadband provision of the economic stimulus package not just on those areas of the country that are unserved by broadband, but also those areas that are underserved. Her reasoning is that even in some areas that are served by broadband the connection is either very slow or too expensive to have and maintain.
