The News Observer Announces 500-mile Broadband Network in Rural Counties in North Carolina
Some of the federal stimulus dollars awarded to North Carolina will be used to build a 500-mile broadband network in rural counties. It has been estimated that the project can create up to 1,000 temporary positions and about a dozen permanent jobs. To read more, please click here.
